Inshō studied art at the Kyōto City School of Arts and Crafts and later became a professor at the Kyōto City Painting College. He painted flowers and (or) birds in the nihonga style and twenty-three examples are shown here. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Inshō also published some of his art as woodblock prints.
